This training module provides an introduction to Motivational Interviewing (MI), a client-centered communication method designed to enhance motivation and commitment to change. Participants will explore foundational concepts of MI, including the six stages of the change model, core communication skills such as OARS, and the processes that guide effective MI practice. The session emphasizes how MI techniques can help assess readiness for change and support individuals in adopting healthier behaviors.
