This training focuses on the critical relationship between effective health communication and health literacy. Participants will explore the importance of clear health communication, best practices for simplifying health messages, and tools to assess and improve the readability of health materials. The session will also highlight online resources such as MedlinePlus, EthnoMed, and the Suitability Assessment of Materials (SAM) tool to promote health literacy and reduce health disparities.
