Description

This training covers the complexities of managing patients with both dementia and multiple chronic conditions (multimorbidity). It explores the prevalence of multimorbidity in older adults, the challenges of balancing treatments for coexisting conditions, and strategies to reduce complications, particularly hospitalizations. Emphasis is placed on patient-centered care, medication management, prognosis considerations, and the impact of multimorbidity on quality of life.
