Description
This training module explores the impact of military culture and service on the health of veterans. It highlights the importance of understanding veterans' unique healthcare needs, including environmental exposures, post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injuries, and challenges related to reintegration into civilian life. Healthcare providers will learn how to sensitively inquire about military service and use that information to improve care coordination and outcomes.
