This training explores the multifaceted nature of grief and loss, particularly within the context of COVID-19 and dementia. It highlights the unique challenges posed by anticipatory grief, disenfranchised grief, and grief overload. The session also examines the effects of social isolation, lack of traditional rituals, and changes in identity on both individuals experiencing loss and their caregivers.
