This training explores rational prescribing and de-prescribing strategies for older adults with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD). Participants will learn about high-risk medications, the risks and benefits of various treatments, and practical strategies to minimize medication-related harm. The session also covers patient and caregiver education, regulatory concerns, and evidence-based alternatives to certain medications and supplements.
