Description
This training focuses on recognizing and addressing trauma-related symptoms in children and adolescents with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD). Participants will explore trauma prevalence, symptoms, and effective interventions tailored to this population. Emphasis is placed on understanding unique challenges, such as communication barriers, and fostering safe, trauma-informed practices.
