Description
This training module covers urinary tract infections (UTIs) in elderly persons, emphasizing the prevalence, diagnosis, and treatment of asymptomatic bacteriuria (ASB) and symptomatic UTIs. Participants will also learn about prevention strategies, modifiable risk factors, and considerations for managing UTIs in both community-dwelling and institutionalized older adults.
