This training examines the work of Birth Detroit and Mothering Justice, emphasizing the need for inclusive maternal health care and policy advocacy for families of color. It highlights systemic challenges and solutions rooted in community empowerment, midwifery care, and policy change.

- Understand the mission and goals of Birth Detroit and its focus on building a birth center led by Black women.
