Description
This training explores the integration of emergency responders and community health workers (CHWs) in addressing health inequities and social determinants of health. The session highlights the experiences of Gary Ringer, a veteran firefighter in Detroit, and his work in community health and economic development. Participants will learn how wrap-around services, home assessments, and innovative partnerships can improve public health outcomes in underserved communities.
